ABOUT
I’m Jennifer Hensley, the proud owner of Playmaker Coaching & Consulting.
My career at Northwestern Mutual spanned nearly 20 years. During my time at NM I gained extensive experience whether it was working in the field or at the corporate headquarters, I’ve been intimately involved in branch office supervision, marketing, practice management, and even orphan management. I’ve had the opportunity to touch upon almost every aspect of the sales force and intimately understand financial services.
Becoming a business owner raised the same concerns for me as it did for many of the people I consulted with. So, I was determined to find a solution to address these concerns. I wanted to discover how to:
- Prospect authentically.
- Build a business around the things you do best.
- Impact more people by incorporating a balance of quick wins with a winning system that generates repeatable results.
I knew there had to be a better way. Drawing on my over 20 years of experience in financial services, my expertise as a master business coach, and 5+ years as a business owner, I embarked on a mission to develop a winning system. I dedicated countless hours to researching and refining my approach to give my clients a winning system.
Combining my financial services background with my experience playing sports, I’ve developed a unique perspective that allows me to see the bigger picture on the business playing field. I can effectively connect different concepts to tackle complex problems.
My goal is to empower business owners to seize opportunities with strategic and creative thinking that yields tangible results. I focus on identifying the most impactful plays to drive progress and implement systems that make a positive impact on the bottom line.
My Story
Growing up as one of six children in a middle-class family, I knew the value of hard work and saving for the future. But when I became a wife, mother, and business owner, being the CFO became a much bigger job than I had ever anticipated. I was constantly worried about making the right financial decisions for my family, and the pressure of being the primary decision-maker weighed heavily on me.
I remember feeling like the bad guy when it came to planning vacations or making other important financial decisions. It was all on me, and the responsibility was overwhelming. I knew I needed help, but I didn’t know how to get the support I needed.
That’s when I decided to relinquish the role of CFO and partner with a trusted financial advisor. It was one of the best decisions I ever made. With their guidance, I was finally able to sit on the same side of the table as my family and articulate my needs and desires as a wife, mother, and business owner.
Sometimes, in life, we need to recognize our limitations and seek help from experts. It’s okay to admit that we don’t have all the answers or that we need support in certain areas. With the right guidance, we can overcome our challenges and achieve our goals with confidence.
- Now is the time to get help.
- Now is the time to partner with an expert.
Whether you are just getting started, looking for a few ways to elevate your efforts, or just want confirmation that you are doing the right thing, scheduling your call with me is the right step.
